Philippines Bus crash: 4 kill, 30 injured

At least four people were killed and about 30 others sustained injuries when a speeding tour bus hit the rear of an 18-wheeler cargo truck in the northern Philippines early on Thursday, local police said.

Police said the accident happened around 0520 hrs on an expressway, here.

The bus was carrying Philippine government employees from Cavite province, Manila to Baguio City in the northern Philippines. Local authorities are looking into the accident.
