Are there any side effects of donating blood? —Mary Peters, Nungambakkam
It is just a myth that there are side effects of donating blood. Some of them include losing weight or become weak. Actually, donating blood is actually good for health because fresh blood is generated in the body to compensate for the loss. Donors have the least risk of contracting any disease or infection. The risk is on the recipient side, not the donor side.
