    Vasculitis is one of the many auto-immune diseases, where the body comes under attack from its own immunity. Vasculitis is not reversible, but is controllable through medication. Vasculitis is the inflammation of blood vessels that could be large (in the heart), medium (for example, in the kidney) or small (skin). There are a number of factors that determine the condition.     Sports medicine has widened its reach to tackle even sedentary diseases. Osteoporosis and osteopenia (bone loss) are caused by stress, irregular diet and disturbed sleep, coupled with lack of physical activity and sedentary lifestyle, smoking and alcohol. Specific exercises and alteration in diet and lifestyle can help manage it. An important part of the treatment is counselling by a psychologist. Often people are very rigid about their diet.
