Did TMC cadres pelt stones at cops after WB march?

NEW DELHI: Violence erupted during Nabanna Abhijan, BJP’s protest march to West Bengal state secretariat ‘Nabanna’ last week as police in various parts of Kolkata and Howrah district tried to stop the march. A video of a group of rioters went viral with the claim that TMC party workers were pelting stones at police during the rally. Alt News spoke to shopkeepers in the region, all of whom denied the presence of any TMC cadre on the day of the march. In fact, the shop owners were trying to chase away BJP workers to save their business establishments.
