A video has gone viral with the claim that ‘Jihadi’ politicians went inside a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai and interrupted the festivities. In the video, a man enters the pandal and asks people to stop the music. A fact-check revealed that the man is Ashish Singh. As per his Facebook profile, Singh is the owner of Kings Fitness gym and the vice president of Yuva Ekta Samajik Sanstha. The video was created as a spoof almost a year ago and was shared online with a false narrative.
