50-year-old professor shakes a leg with Govinda

Internet’s desi dancing sensation - Sanjeev Shrivastava, who’s now better known as ‘Dancing Uncle’, finally had his dream come true. Shrivastava, who had confessed to be a die-hard fan of Govinda, not only got a chance to meet his big screen idol but also got the chance shook a leg with his favourite star. Shrivastava and Govinda brought the house down with their moves on Dance Deewane, a dance reality show. Shrivastava, a professor from Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha, also danced with Madhuri Dixit on the show.

Don’t sleep with visitors, Russian women told

Russian women should refrain from sleeping with foreigners who are visiting World Cup fans to avoid becoming single mothers to mixed-race children, a lawmaker who heads the parliament’s family committee has advised. Tamara Pletnyova, a 70-year-old lawyer who leads the family, women and children body at the lower house, told a radio station that she hoped women would not date visiting fans and get pregnant. The World Cup hosted by Russia could boost the number of young women falling pregnant, the top politician warned, adding: ‘I hope they get things clear in their heads regarding foreigners. We should be giving birth to our own children.’

Vikas Khanna breaks fast with Muslim family

Chef Vikas Khanna expressed his gratitude towards a Muslim family who took care of him and saved his life during the Mumbai riots in 1992. In order to honour them, Khanna has been fasting for a day during Ramadan since 1992. The New York-based celebrity chef said he’s happy to have finally found the family after 26 years. On Monday, he tweeted he was happy to have tracked down the family and would break his Ramadan fast with them. Last night, presumably after meeting and sharing an Iftar meal with the Mumbai family, Khanna tweeted: “Heartwarming evening. All Heart. Tears. Pain. Pride. Courage. Humanity. Gratitude.”
