Samsung to launch Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India soon

Samsung has finally launched the much-awaited Galaxy S8 and S8+ smart phones at an event in New York and both these phones are coming to India soon.

They pack an infinity display with almost no bezels and top-of-the-line specifications including some interesting features such as iris scanner, face recognition, water resistance, wireless charging and more. The Galaxy S8+ packs a 6.2-inch screen and a 3,500 mAh battery while the smaller Galaxy S8 packs a 5.8-inch screen and a 3,000 mAh battery. 

ACT Fibernet upgrades plans for Chennai users 

ACT Fibernet which offers high-speed Internet plans in Chennai has upgraded its plans by offering higher speeds and increased download limits and the same cost. The base plan starts at 75 Mbps now instead of 50 Mbps and goes all the way up to 200 Mbps for SOHO users. The company has also launched high-speed Gigabit internet for the first time in India in the city of Hyderabad and promises speeds up to 1000 Mbps both for download and upload. It could be launched in Chennai in the coming months. 

Jio launches extends Prime registration till April 15 

Jio had introduced a Prime offer at Rs 99 which allows users to get extra data benefits for 1 year and the last date to sign up for this offer was March 31. Now this has been extended till April 15, 2017 post which the free benefits will stop. Jio claims to have over 72 million Prime users. 

Users would also need to purchase a monthly recharge in order to keep the connection active. For those users paying Rs 303 or more, the company has introduced a Summer Surprise offer which will offer three months of access for free, post which the recharge will be applied giving such users complimentary access till July 1.
