Hindu outfit cadre held for creating ruckus at beef stall in Kovai

COIMBATORE: Three members of Hindu Munnani were arrested for picking up a quarrel with a person running a beef stall in Coimbatore. Police said that the Hindu Munnani functionaries Shanmugam (40), Vinod (32) and Murugan (48) got into a quarrel, under the influence of alcohol, over selling beef on Tuesday at Perianaickenpalayam. On receiving information from the shop owner Muhammed Sikkander (32) from PSG Garden in Press Colony, police rushed to the spot and arrested the trio. They were produced in court and remanded in judicial custody.
