Man held for taking videos of women bathing

TIRUVALLUR: Sathish Kumar (32), a mechanic, was arrested in Tiruvallur for taking videos of two women bathing in his neighbourhood on Saturday. The police also arrested 3 men who were related to the victims for burning his bike. Sathish, a resident of Manavalan Nagar, took videos of two women bathing with his mobile phone.

One of the victims who saw Sathish near the bathroom window, raised an alarm following which family members and neighbours caught him red-handed. When they checked his phone and confirmed the videos, they filed a police complaint. Sathish was arrested immediately.

However, relatives of the victim who came to know about the incident raided Sathish’s mechanic shop and threatened his father Devendran with dire consequences. “They also set fire to his bike,” police said. Following this, Devendran filed a complaint with the Manavalan Nagar police who have registered a case against Bharathi Dasan, Vignesh and Rajendran for destroying the bike. Investigations are on.
