19-yr-old girl booked under Pocso Act for abusing 17-yr-old boy

TIRUCHY: A 19-year-old woman from Nagapattinam was booked under Pocso Act from sexually torturing a 17-year-old boy. Sources said that the girl student and the boy, who were studying in the same class, were having an affair and had an intimacy due to which the girl became pregnant for five months.
While the information about her pregnancy spread among the relatives of the boy, they lodged a complaint of abuse with the police. Since the boy was a minor, the girl was booked under the provisions of various IPC sections, including the Pocso Act.
Meanwhile, it is said, the girl has been undergoing treatment at the GH and the police are in the process of arresting her soon after she is discharged from the hospital.
