Kallakurichi, Ramanathapuram only dists with no new Covid cases

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu reported 463 new cases on Monday, taking the total tally to 35.71 lakh. The highest was recorded in Chennai with 82 new cases, followed by Coimbatore with 62, Kanyakumari 28, Chengalpattu 26, Erode and Ranipet reported 24 cases each. While other districts recorded less than 20 cases, Kallakurichi and Ramanathapuram had no new case.
TN’s test positivity rate rose to 2.4% after 19,989 samples were tested on Sunday. Tiruppur had 6.5%, Coimbatore 5.5%, Krishnagiri 5.3%, Erode 4.9% and Chennai had 1.9% TPR. As many as 483 patients were discharged across the State taking the total number of recoveries to over 35.28 lakh.
