KMDK functionary in Namakkal abducted by miscreants
Police said Gautham (36), KMDK’s Pallipalayam North union youth wing president was returning home in his two-wheeler after closing his finance firm around 9.30 pm, when miscreants, who were hiding near his house threw chili powder on his face and abducted him in their car.
COIMBATORE: A Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK) functionary in Namakkal district was kidnapped by unidentified persons on Monday night. Police said Gautham (36), KMDK’s Pallipalayam North union youth wing president was returning home in his two-wheeler after closing his finance firm around 9.30 pm, when miscreants, who were hiding near his house threw chili powder on his face and abducted him in their car. On receiving a complaint from his wife, Veppadai police have launched a search for the culprits. Police are inquiring two staff of the financial firm, who had a recent altercation with Gautham over financial transactions. Four special teams have been formed to investigate.
