‘Online RTE Act admissions ensure transparency’
School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi on Monday said to ensure transparency in the process of admission under the RTE Act, 2009, applications for admission has been made online.
He said a total of 56,687 children were admitted under this provision during the academic year 2021-22. Accordingly, Rs 314.64 crore has been reimbursed to the schools which have admitted children under this category for the year 2020-21.
