Shortage: Only 150 TN health, frontline workers get inoculated in a day

The overall number of vaccinations during the day stood at an abysmal 2,327 doses, just about 1/125 as that of last Thursday. The number of HCWs who received the jab has remained below 1,000 since June 4, but Thursday's figure was the lowest.

It included 61 who took Covishield while the rest took Covaxin. Similarly, the doses given to FLWs, too, have been dipping from June 3, going below the 1,000-mark for the fifth consecutive day. In all, 8,35,881 healthcare workers and 10,55,573 frontline workers have received at least one dose so far.
