    Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, DMK Chief MK Stalin and leaders of various political parties greeted the people of the state on the eve of New Year.

    In his message, Governor Purohit said, “I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu at the dawn of New Year 2021.” “As we step into the New Year, let us resolve to work together towards building a united, prosperous and healthy India and Tamil
    Nadu,” he said, according to a Raj Bhavan release.

    “May the New Year be an occasion to make a fresh beginning and renew our resolve for individual as well as collective growth. Let us inculcate in ourselves love, compassion, tolerance and work towards creating an inclusive society where peace and harmony prevails,” the Governor said. Purohit said, “May this New Year 2021 bring joy and prosperity in everyone’s lives! May everyone be healthy and may everyone’s aspirations be fulfilled.”

    In his message, Chief Minister Palaniswami listed out the steps taken by his government to make Tamil Nadu the Numero Uno state in various fields and the awards won from the Centre. He said let the New Year bring happiness, harmony and peace and extended his greetings. Stalin, PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss and leaders of various political parties also extended their New Year greetings.
