Going by the statement, Vijayasundaram has been leveling baseless allegations against TNCC chief KS Alagiri owing to political animosity. The announcement also said the former district Congress president did not respond to a show cause notice issued by the disciplinary committee against him for posting derogatory comments about the party unit on social media.

Farmers rally deferred

Meanwhile, TNCC president KS Alagiri deferred the November 28 “plough rally” in view of Cyclone Nivar. But he extended party’s support to November 26 nationwide agitation of trade unions.
