TN records 2,487 new COVID19 cases

2,487 new COVID19 cases have been recorded in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday taking the total toll to 7,34,429, according to the reports from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The number of deaths reported were 30 and the total number of mortality was 11,244.

The recovered cases were reported to be 2,504 taking the total to 7,04,031

75,331 people were tested for the COVID19. Earlier the Health Ministry told that more than 1 crore people have been tested so far and accordingly, a total of 1,24,5,248 have been tested.

The COVID19 count as per the districts have reduced. In Chennai, 657 positive cases were recorded with 5 deaths and the recovered cases were reported to be 844 on Wednesday. Notably, the COVID19 count in Chennai have reduced by half.
