Theatre owners meet CM on reopening of theatres

Showbiz had taken a bad hit as theatres were shut for over seven months due to lockdown.
Central government had issued guidelines to reopen theatres from October 15 but Tamil Nadu being fastidious in lockdown measures is yet to take a call on this, albeit a phased opening.
Theatres owners had earlier met minister Kadambur Raju and now with the CM taking up the same request.
Though talks are making rounds that theatres in the state will resume business from October 22, this is yet to made official.Â
