Sasikala will be an integral part of AIADMK after release: MLA Karunaas
Sasikala, who has been in prison for 4 years in disproportionate asset case, would be an inseparable and integral part of the AIADMK, after her release from the Bengaluru prison, as she had been instrumental in guiding the party after the death of late chief minister J Jayalalithaa, Mukaluthoor puli padai leader and MLA Karunaas told the media in Vellore on Saturday.

Karunaas, who arrived here to inaugurated a police recruitment training programme for his community members, said whatever changes the AIADMK might face would be decided only after Sasikala’s release and not before. “As she had been instrumental in giving many of the present party leaders, including the present CM top party posts, there was expected to be a convulsion in the party,” he added. Asked about the controversy around actor Vijay Sethupathi, for acting in a biopic on Muthaiah Muralidharan, he said it was still not known in what capacity the actor would participate in the film, 800. “However, going by public sentiment against his participation, Sethupathi should also consider the views expressed by people in Tamil Nadu,” he opined.
