Petrol bomb hurled at BJP worker’s house

Police said. Krishnamurthy, a local BJP functionary from Bharathidasan Nagar had gone to Palani temple with his family in the early hours. On his return around afternoon, he was shocked to find broken pieces of a liquor bottle and its wick on the portico of the house.

On receiving information, the Anuperpalayam police rushed to the spot and are scanning the images recorded in CCTV cameras in the neighbourhood to trace the culprits. Further investigations are on.
