With this initiative, students who cannot afford online classes are getting educated old-school; under the tree shade.
The government-aided school teachers in Madurai have taken up this altruistic initiative.
By reaching out to students at their residences and calling them to a spacious spot nearby, these teachers are making sure that all students get quality education. Not just students of one particular school but many gather and they are making use of this academic plan. It is to be noted that they are following physical distancing meticulously.
One Saravanan, a school principal from Madurai who spearheads this activity said this initiative would be beneficial for the students who could ill-afford online classes and this shall continue till the lockdown relaxes and school reopens.
