COVID 19: 5,981 test positive in TN taking the toll to 4,03,242

On Thursday, the state of Tamil Nadu has recorded 5,981 positive cases of COVID 19 and now the total number of positive cases in the state has gone up to 4,03,242.

As many as 52,364 active cases are still being treated in government and private hospitals in the state, while a total of 5,870 people have recovered from the virus and got discharged today. 

Among that total number of 4,03,242 positive cases, 3,43,930 have recovered in the state.

Today, as many as 109 people have succumbed to the virus taking the total death toll to 6,948.
