Government job for one from the Tiruvarur soldier's family: TN CM K Palaniswami

Honouring soldier Thirumurthy (47) who died in his duty period, Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister has announced government job for one from his family.

Thirumurthy passed away on Friday under treatment he went through since July 26, suffering an injury to his face. However, the bullet was operated out of him.

He was cleaning the gun while patrolling the border inadvertently the gun went off bullet seared his face.

Thirumurthy is survived by his wife Tamilarasi, daughter Akalya and son Agathiyan.
