Tamil Nadu records 3,645 Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, highest-ever single day spike

Tamil Nadu has recorded 3,645 fresh COVID-19 cases today, making the highest spike ever in a single day. The total number of cases in the state has crossed 74,000.

Chennai city has recorded 1,956 fresh cases, the highest in the state. 

A total of 46 people have died due to Covid-19 infection today, taking the death toll of the state to 957.
