All 34 discharged from Tiruchy quarantine centre
The test results of all 34 passengers kept in the quarantine centre at Kallikudi in Tiruchy were negative, and were thus discharged. There now are none at the centre, officials said.

Two persons, including a child, were admitted to the isolation ward at the GH after displaying symptoms on Monday. After one person was discharged from the ward, there now are eight persons in the isolation ward.
District Collector S Sivarasu said 18 persons admitted at the isolation ward have been discharged after their test results turned negative. Meanwhile, to create awareness and clear doubts from the people and to alert the officials, a control room was established at the Collectorate. The public can contact at 99523 87108. Also, Deputy Director (Health Services) Dr Subramani can be contacted on 97911 46511 and 94420 38951.
148 home quarantined in Thanjavur
Meanwhile, Thanjavur Collector M Govinda Rao said 148 persons are in home quarantine in the district. They are being monitored by a medical team, and their family members were asked to adhere to the norms issued by the Health department, he added on Monday.
From the airports, the district administration has been collecting the data of passengers hailing from Thanjavur. Using this information, the passengers are categorised into three based on the country from where they arrived.
“If they show any symptoms of COVID-19, they be taken on ambulance and would be screened. If the test result is positive, they would be taken to the isolation wards at the GHs,” the Collector said.
