VCK for special investigation team to probe CAA violence

In a special state executive committee meeting of the VCK, four resolutions were adopted. In the first resolution, VCK has urged the Centre to distribute Rs 1 crore for the families of the persons who were killed in the Delhi violence. The loss of property should be estimated and people who instigated the violence should be booked.

VCK also urged the state government not to undertake National Population Register (NPR) exercise. BJP in a clever disguise has changed National Register of Citizens (NRC) as NPR and state government should understand that several people will go homeless if NPR is undertaken.

VCK further urged the Central government to file review petition on the judgment on reservation. “Reservation is our basic right, but Supreme Court delivered a condemnable verdict stating that reservation is not a basic right. The verdict is against the Indian Constitution and Centre should fight against the judgment by filing review petition in the Supreme Court,” read a resolution. 

VCK, in its fourth resolution, urged the Centre to enact a special law against hate politics. “Ever since BJP came to power, hate politics in the country has increased and to prevent them a stringent law should be enacted,” read the resolution.
