Newly-wed couple gets ‘No CAA, NRC’ gift
As the protests across the country and in Tamil Nadu against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) continued, a Muslim couple got a surprise wedding gift with the slogans “Together We Say No to CAA, NRC”.

The Muslim couple, who entered into a wedlock at Cuddalore on Sunday, found that the one of the gifts had the message with the slogan ‘Ram, Rahim, Robert-All are Indians, Together We Say No to CAA and NRC.’ The slogan was printed on a white paper and pasted on the gift.
The gift was presented by a group of Hindu invitees who were friends of the bridegroom. They said the message that “all are Indians irrespective of their religion, caste and creed. We will not be divided by any section on the basis of caste and religion, should be loud and clear”.
