Don’t reduce funds for edu dept, says PMK

Citing the economic slowdown, the State government has decided to reduce the budget for the School Education department by Rs 3,000 crore. Already, the Central government is spending far less for education when compared to the recommendations of the Kothari commission and now, reducing it further is not acceptable, Ramadoss said.
