Ishari Ganesh to file reply by July 29
Owner of educational institutions, film producer and actor Ishari K Ganesh appeared before Madras High Court on Monday and sought time to file his reply on the contempt case filed against him by Justice Anand Venkatesh for attempting to influence him to disrupt the South Indian Artistes Association (Nadigar Sangam) election.

The division bench comprisingJustice M M Sundresh and Justice M Nirmal Kumar posted the case to July 29. Another person Anantharaman who had called the judge twice, regards adjourning the election, also appeared before the bench.
Justice N Anand Venkatesh framed two charges against Ganesh forattempting to influence him through Anantharaman to ensure the elections are not conducted on June 23.
“He told me that Ganesh does not want the elections to be conducted on June 23, 2019 and something can be done to postpone them,” the judge said.
