Supreme Court uploading verdicts in Tamil too
In yet another issue, the request of political leaders and people from Tamil Nadu has yielded results as the Supreme Court released the first set of the copies of its judgments in seven vernacular languages, including Tamil.

 Though the first set released on Wednesday had only translated versions of SC judgments in Kannada and Telugu, two judgments in Tamil were uploaded on Thursday.
While, the English version of the judgments can be downloaded the same day when the court delivers them, translated versions in regional languages will be made available in a week from the date of verdict.
The translated versions will be listed under the title vernacular judgments on the website. Earlier, when Supreme Court announced that order copies will be issued in regional languages, Tamil was not included. This triggered a debate and leaders along with people appealed the SC to include Tamil.
