TTS can’t talk of self-respect after joining DMK, says Tamilisai

Addressing reporters at party headquarters here, Tamilisai blamed Thanga Tamilselvan for dragging the name of BJP-led Centre into the controversy between the AIADMK and the DMK. His comment that the BJP was controlling the AIADMK holds no truth and the fact is that there was no entry for the Tamilselvan in AIADMK and so he joined the DMK.

She also said that the DMK has been submitting petitions seeking projects and amenities. If the BJP alliance had won the polls in the state, the scenario would be different. Former union minister Pon Radhakrishnan brought development projects worth Rs 40,000 crore to TN, she said.To a query on the Indian cricket team being given a jersey in saffron colour, Tamilisai said that opposition had been linking the colour with the BJP. What is there in jersey colour and there is saffron even in the rainbow, Tamilisai said terming the controversy as silly.

“I also wonder the statement of Tamilselvan stating that he is inspired by the leadership of MK Stalin,” Tamilisai said in her tweet adding that time will answer whether the DMK had gained ‘gold or scrap’ referring to Thanga Tamilselvan in a veiled attack. Meanwhile, she presided over the induction of about 100 Communist cadre from Krishnagiri into the BJP.
