There is an outcry over the newly framed school syllabus of Tamil Nadu. The syllabus has some objectionable content regarding Muslim rulers and Sultanates.
Also, the syllabus mentions Hindi as India's national language. Such content is being vehemently opposed and there is a call from several sections of the society to truncate such non-factual statements from the syllabus.
