Vasan’s mother passes away, ruling, oppn leaders condole

Leaders of various political parties, including Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, Ministers, DMK president MK Stalin, MDMK general secretary Vaiko visited Vasan’s residence in the city and paid their last respects to the departed soul and offered their condolences.State BJP chief Tamilisai Soundararajan and AMMK founder TTV Dhinakaran also  expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. 

Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, in his condolence message said, “Kasturi Moopanar was a good mother and great support to GK Vasan. Her demise will be an irreparable loss to his family.” He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members of Kasturi Moopanar. Earlier, DMK president Stalin along with former ministers K Ponmudi and EV Velu visited the hospital where 88-year-old Kasturi Moopanar breathed her last and expressed his condolences to Vasan upon the passing away of his mother. MDMK general secretary Vaiko has also visited Vasan to condole his mother’s demise. Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president KS Alagiri also expressed his condolence to the family of GK Moopanar, who associated himself with the Congress party for long.
