Two held for stealing motorcycles in Pondy

Police arrested two persons and recovered 11 stolen motorcycles worth Rs 4 lakh on Tuesday evening. Police noticed two youths wandering in front of a shopping Mall on the Cuddalore road.

On inquiry it came to know that they were Rajkumar (25) and Satheeshkuamr (26) from Vikravandi in Villippuram district of Tamil Nadu and they came to steal motorcycles. On further interrogation, police managed to recover 11 motorcycles tolen from Puducherry and sold in Tamil Nadu. Orleanpet police registered a case and arrested the duo.

A shop owner Himadhar Ram, was arrested on charges of selling fake accessories of branded cell phones here on Wednesday. On a tip off, he was caught by Grand bazaar police men who arrested Himadhar.
