Bedi takes part in Kanagan lake clean-up
Lt Governor Kiran Bedi as part of the ‘Mission Green Puducherry’ on Sunday morning visited the Kanagan lake in the Union Territory and involved herself in the clean-up operations, a release stated.

According to a Raj Nivas statement, Bedi along with team Raj Nivas and others involved themselves in cleaning operations at Kanagan Lake.
Two years ago, this lake was found to be in a bad condition choked with hyacinth and receiving sewage water. With the efforts taken by the Lt Governor, officers of different departments, and residents welfare associations, the lake has been revamped and it is now in the path towards full recovery.
In a bid to strengthen the bund of the lake, planting of seedlings was carried out with the participation of many.
