All India NEET counselling commences, students can register till June 24
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) begun the first round of online counselling for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 admission to All India quota medical and dental courses on Thursday.

The candidates, who cleared NEET 2019, can register for the counselling after paying the tuition fee on the official website of MCC- mcc.nic.in. The candidates can register and enter the choices till June 24 up to 5 pm.
The second phase of All India counselling will start on July 6 and the seat allotment will be done on July 10 and July 11. As per National Testing Agency, the NEET cut off score 2019 for general category candidates is 50 per cent while it is 40 per cent for OBC/SC/ST.
Meanwhile, more than 38,955 students have registered to apply for MBBS/BDS applications under government quota and 28,937 students under management quota till Thursday. A total of 34,310 applications have been submitted under government quota and 25,322 under management quota as on Thursday.
The last day to submit the filled-in applications to seek admission in medical colleges in the State is on June 21, 2019 till 5 pm. “Tamil Nadu MBBS NEET merit list will be released by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) on July 2, 2019. The first phase of counselling will tentatively start by July 5, 2019. The second phase of counselling will depend on the schedule of All India counselling which is expected on July 6,” saidG Selvaraj, Secretary, selection committee.
The first phase of State counselling for government quota seats for special category it is to be held on July 4. The counselling schedule will be shared on the official website www.tnhealth.org and www.tnmedicalselection.org.
