Lacks decorum in cinema, politics: Jayakumar
Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar termed the Hindu terror remarks of MNM president Kamal Haasan as unacceptable.
Madurai
“Kamal as an actor has no sense of decorum in cinema as well as in politics. He has to pay for his mistakes and only when he realises his mistake, all would accept him. Kamal was trying to disrupt peace and tranquility in Tamil Nadu by passing such remarks to gain political advantage,” the Minister said while talking to reporters at Vilaseri near Tiruparankundram in Madurai on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Minister criticized the DMK and called it a ‘paper boat,’ in which DMK, Congress and AMMK could sail after votes were counted on May 23. “Maybe, Stalin could learn subtraction after May 23. Unlike AIADMK, which’s accepted by all, DMK was devoid of principle, ideology and long term vision, but keen in thirst for power,” Jayakumar added. “When Karunanidhi failed in his attempts, how Stalin could topple the government, he asked.
Terming the AMMK as a ‘letter pad party,’ he said the AMMK would vanish once the poll results were out and those loyal to AIADMK would come out from AMMK and rejoin AIADMK.
