An opportunist, slams BJP leader Ila Ganesan 

Speaking to reporters, Ganesan said Kamal has shown himself as an opportunist. There is no link between Aravakurichi by-election and the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. But, out of utter confusion he has spoken as though he has come to get justice for the death of Gandhiji.

He said that Kamal wanted to woo voters from Muslim community and he planned to speak about this issue just for the minority votes. “His remarks on Godse should be condemned. He is in utter confusion and so he needs to learn more about the Hindu religion,” Ganesan said.

Stating that the extraction of hydrocarbon project was planned by the previous government, Ganesan said that the farmers should get the due compensation for the land they lose for the project and stressed that the exploration activities would never affect the farmers at any cost.
