Lawyers collective seek lawyer Arul's release: Perambalur case
Suspecting a probational bias against lawyer Arul, the Perambalur Advocates Association has passed a resolution seeking Arul's release. The Association will stage a protest in front of Perambalur Collectorate.

Condemning the police for booking the Naam Tamilar lawyer Arul under Goondas Act and seeking Arul's unconditional release, the Perambular Advocates Association has passed a resolution.Â
Presided by lawyer Mohammed Ilyas, the association was solicited for an emergency meeting at the complex of Perambalur Court on Tuesday.
The infamous case of AIADMK members alegedly enticing women in the pretext of employment and sexually harrassing them was brought to light by lawyer Arul. His evidential audio tape was claimed to be doctored and he was incarcerated in Trichy Central Jail.
The Perambalur Advocates Association said there was no probation on the premise presented by Arul, and his arrest was suspiciously hasty. Taking their protests to the next level, the association will voice its exception in front of the Perambalur Collectorate on Wednesday.
