200 advocates allocated to the different constituencies: MK Stalin
In order to ensure smooth conduction of the campaigning activities and to coordinate with the officials from the election commission, DMK has allocated a number of advocates in the constituencies.

Owing to the midterm election at Thiruparankundram, Aravakurichi, Ottapidaram and Sulur constituencies, leaders belonging to the different contesting parties have been engaging in serious campaigning activities.Â
In order to ensure smooth conduction of the campaigning activities and to coordinate with the officials from the election commission, DMK has allocated a number of advocates in the constituencies. The 4 constituencies have been allotted 50 advocates each, totalling at 200 advocates for the midterm elections. Â
The advocates have been engaging in reporting problem causing members of other contesting parties, serving notices to the election commission.
Following this, an advisory committee was formed in the constituencies. A number of veteran advocates including secretary R. S. Bharathi were a part of this committee. Advise on reporting malpractices like the distribution of booth slips by members of AIADMK instead of the electoral committee and such were provided. The advocates have set up camps at the different constituencies and are providing consultancy, coordinating with the electoral department.Â
Having already campaigned at the constituencies, DMK leader M.K. Stalin will begin phase 2 of his campaign on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of this month, the preparations for which have already begun.Â
