EPS would have to vacate office after 23rd: Thanga Tamil Selvan

While meeting reporters in Madurai, AMMK leader Thanga Tamil Sevan said, “The Supreme Court’s decision to ban the speaker’s notice to 3 MLAs demanding explanation was right. Since the Supreme Court has questioned this demand, the speaker has been held accountable.”

He said that had the order was declared by the Supreme Court when a notice was served to 18 MLAs, ministers in Tamil Nadu would have been sentenced to prison. He added that it was impossible for the current Chief Minister Edappadi to continue his reign. He mentioned that the Chief Minister would have to vacate office after the 23rd and that BJP’s hypothetical win at the centre will not improve the party’s situation.

Having criticized Minister Rajendra Balaji, he said that despite the Chief Minister’s campaign, AIADMK will lose its deposit at Thiruparankundram. He declared that AMMK will conduct investigations on former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s death, the Pollachi case and the Kodanad case once the party comes to power.
