Sasikala Pushpa’s verdict indefinitely reserved

The expelled AIADMK M.P Sasikala Pushpa's appeal for anticipatory bail on the charges of counterfeited signature came for hearing on Thursday, headed by R. Bhanumathi. The verdict was indefinitely reserved.

In 2016, the then AIADMK M.P Sasikala Pushpa and her family faced sexual harassment charges by her maid and maid's sister. The accused Sasikala Pushpa, her husband Lingeshwara Thilagan, son Pradeep Raja and mother Gowri moved Madurai High Court for anticipatory bail plea which was rejected.

However, their appeal for interim relief from arrest on both the cases to the Supreme Court were considered and they were given respite from getting incarcerated.
