Stalin raked up Jayalalithaa's death case issue saying no Chief Minister's death has ever been probed before.
Chennai
The DMK president MK Stalin campaigned for the party's Ottapidaram candidate Shanmugayya in Gorampallam bazaar. He urged the people to send the ‘incumbent’ Chief Minister and Prime Minister home by voting for rising sun on May 19th by-polls.
Stalin raked up Jayalalithaa's death case issue saying no Chief Minister's death has ever been probed before. Also, he voiced the need for local body polls to implement basic amenities.
MK Stalin also pricked the ruling government's guilt by coming down heavily at its apathy towards people through Sterlite shootings and Thoothukudi floods. He averred it was the DMK that stood with the people in both the occasions.
The DMK supremo promised if Shanmugayya is voted to power he will ensure proper irrigation of the Gorampallam pond and other water, and sewage related issues like combine water supply scheme from Seevelaperi, will be addressed. Stalin was unequivocal in shutting down of Sterlite and normalising the cable TV rates.
Stalin continued his campaigning through Pudhukottai, Kootampuli, Servaikkaranmadam, Thangammalpuram, Kattalangulam, Mudivaithaanendhal. Taking a leaf from ‘nammaku naame’, he got down from his car to interact with people. He started for Madurai from Mudivaithaanendhal after finishing his campaign at 7:40 P.M.
