Police question 3 men of Lankan origin in city
The Q branch sleuths on Tuesday evening conducted an inquiry with three residents of an apartment in Poonamallee in connection with Sri Lankan serial blast.

They were questioned on information that one of the suspects linked to the explosions that killed over 250 people on Easter day had visited them. Sources said that the information about the meeting was extracted during an inquiry with a resident of Mannadi in Chennai. The sleuths have been grilling the three men of Sri Lankan origin since Tuesday evening.
Investigators are trying to find if the conspirators of Lankan serial blasts had received any logistical support from Tamil Nadu.
They are also trying to find if those involved had used sea route, once used by LTTE, between TN and Lanka to transport materials needed for explosions.
Till late in the evening, Tamil Nadu police maintained that they have not made an arrest in the State in connection with the Lankan serial blast.
