Mobile phones and laptop seized from Thirunavukarasu house Police seeks custody

Thirunavukkarasu who was a financier in Pollachi ,was the one of the main accused in the controversial pollachi sex abuse.

He along with his friends Sabari Rajan,Vasanthkumar and Sathish were arrested under Goondas Act.

The case which was being handled by CB-CID was transferred to CBI on 13/3/2019,as there were allegations of political intervention which may disrupt the fair investigation.

Hence an order was passed by the Tamil Nadu Government on 13/3/2019 evening,that the case was transferred to CBI.

Meanwhile a CB-CID team consisting of DSP Muthusamy, 2 lady inspectors and 2 sub inspectors, raided Thirunavukarasu's house in chinnappampalayam, Anaimalai and in Maakinampatti near pollachi, simultaneously.

A Laptop, 2 mobile phones and pendrives were seized and sent for analysis. Thirunavukkarasu used to abuse the women of the defaulters' household. So CB-CID have started the enquiry among the defaulters about the sexual harassement faced by them so far.

CB-CID also have seeked custody of the 4 accused on friday. It is expected that CBI will appoint a lady enquiry officer for the investigation and CB-CID will hand over all the records to the investigating officer then.
