3-day meet on nano materials at VIT University
The world was now at a juncture when it was facing the consequences of various acts in the field of chemistry and renewable fuels and hence it was important that guidelines were created to deal with this, said Sourav Pal director, IISER (Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research)While inaugurating the 3-day global conference.

Presiding university VC Anand A Samuel said the international ranking obtained by the chemistry department was based on research in which even UG students were trained. This had resulted in the university surpassing IITs, NITs and IISc and being ranked first in the country.
More than 400 delegates from India and various countries are attending the conference, he added.
