Stalin offers Rs 2 Lakh solatium
DMK president M K Stalin visted the house of a CRPF jawan who was martyred in Pulwama terror attack, Sivachandran, from Karkudi village in Ariyalur district and provided Rs 2 lakh to his family on Sunday.

According to the DMK press statement, Stalin personally went to the martyred jawan’s house to convey his deepest condolences to the bereaved members of the family, after giving the cheque.
Silent procession taken out in Pondy
The Puducherry unit of the IndianEx-Services League conducted a silent procession here on Saturday as a mark of respect to the 40 CRPF personnel killed in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. President of the League Sergeant (retired) N Mohansaid the participants have appealed to thegovernment to provide safety and security to the soldiers.
