Aavin to supply 7.24 lakhs kg ghee to Tirumala temple
In a big boost to State-owned dairy company Aavin, fresh orders have been received from Tirupati Devasthanam board for supply of ghee for the Venkateswara temple at Tirupati.

Aavin, in a statement, said, “Aavin has bagged the order for supply of 7.24 lakh kg of ghee to Tirupati Venkateswara Temple. The total worth of the ghee to be supplied is Rs 23 crore”.
Tirupati Devasthanam board put out tenders for procuring ghee and Aavin bagged the contract after 15 years. The work order was issued on Monday, where the quantity of ghee to be supplied was informed by the board.
