Didn’t invite TTV back, clarifies OPS
Deputy Chief Minister and AIADMK Coordinator O Panneerselvam, on Sunday, took to Twitter to explain that he did not invite Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran to return to the AIADMK.

In his tweet, Panneerselvam said, “The news that appeared in media that I invited Dhinakaran, to join AIADMK, was fake. Most of the 18 suspended MLAs wished to return to the AIADMK and my invitation is only for them.”
After Dhinakaran informed media that Panneerselvam met him to topple the state government, a section of media recently reported that Panneerselvam invited Dhinakaran to return to the AIADMK. The news had created ripples in political circle at the time when the AIADMK leaders have been telling media that AMMK is their staunch enemy in the political circles and the Parliamentary elections are scheduled in another three months. However, Panneerselvam replied to the reports that appeared in media by saying that it was fake and asked his supporters to “not to believe the reports.”
Meanwhile, Dhinakaran slammed Panneerselvam by saying that if the deputy CM had asked the suspended MLAs to return to party he would not have informed it in the open and wouldcarried out the operation secretly.
He also criticised Panneerselvam by saying that he was the one who said that he would free AIADMK from the clutches of a single family, but now he is trying to bring the AIADMK into his family fold by bringing his son to the fore.
