TTV will disappear post elections: Vaithilingam
In a fitting reply to the AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran, who commented that the state Budget was just a befooling exercise (Kathula Poo), the AIADMK Deputy Coordinator and Rajya Sabha MP R Vaithilingam on Saturday said that the people are ready to place the same around his ears in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

He also said that Dhinakaran would be no more in state politics after the Parliament elections.
Speaking among the members of the party’s Thanjavur Lok Sabha election committee, Vaithilingam said, those who went behind Dhinakaran with the hope that he would secure the party and the symbol have started to return to the AIADMK after understanding that he would do nothing.
He asked the members to respect those who return from the AMMK and urged those willing to join back to do so by February 20.
“Both DMK president MK Stalin and Dhinakaran were ambitious that they would secure power after toppling the AIADMK. But Amma’s soul has been a driving force for us and no one can do anything against us,” Vaithilingam said.
He said that the AIADMK will become the deciding factor for the government that would be formed at the Centre after the Lok Sabha polls.
He later told reporters that both the DMK and the AMMK cannot challenge the AIADMK and the people are ready to place flower around Dhinakaran’s ears in the elections.
